We provide a variety of vaccinations to eligible NHS patients.
These include but are not limited to childhood immunisations, flu shots, HPV, meningitis, pneumonia, shingles, tetanus, and whooping cough.
If you are eligible for a vaccination, our system will notify us, and we will contact you to schedule an appointment. However, some vaccinations may come with a fee. If you want to learn more about our paid vaccination services, please get in touch with reception.
In addition to our vaccination services, we also have a travel health clinic. If interested, please ask reception for a travel risk assessment form. One of our practice nurses will evaluate your form and provide you with the necessary vaccinations for your vacation. We need at least 6-8 weeks’ notice to make arrangements for this.
We can also provide steroid/joint injections. One of our clinicians must refer you for this.
Our minor operation clinic operates on a waiting list.
A clinician must refer you to join the waiting list.
A range of procedures can be undertaken, including but not limited to:
- Removal of skin tags and benign moles
- Incision and drainage of abscesses
- Removal of small cysts and lipomas
- Biopsies of skin lesions
We provide an IUD/implant clinic which operates on a waiting list.
To join the waiting list, you must first discuss contraceptive options with a GP or advanced nurse practitioner. Once you’re on the list, we’ll contact you when an appointment is available. We usually have 2 to 3 clinics for this service every month.
If you need advice about sexual health or want to make an appointment for IUD/Implant fittings, you can also contact iCash Bedfordshire.
